Please contact Erin Donohoe at 205-581-1000 if you are interested in volunteering. Triumph hosts many events throughout the year and relies on volunteers to make these events a success.
Thank you for all of your support!
LIVING INDEPENDENTLY is a hallmark of Triumph– 55 adults in Birmingham are learning to live on their own thanks to the support team at Triumph. Our participants are a HIGHLY UNDERSERVED group with an expected 1 MILLION adults who will need services in the next few years.
A whopping 9 out of 10 participants are EMPLOYED! Not only is being gainfully employed critical to achieving independence, but it also means participants are contributing members of our community. More than 90 PERCENT of adults with autism are unemployed.
More than half of adults with developmental disabilities suffer from depression. Therefore, FRIENDSHIPS AND SOCIAL OUTLETS are critical to their well being. That's why Triumph offers social groups and one–on–one counseling. Only 3 percent of adults with autism live fully independent.
