COVID-19

 In Uncategorized

As COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to spread across the U.S. and into our footprint, Triumph leadership along with the Board of Directors are monitoring communication and guidance from the CDC and state departments of health. We want to address Triumph’s response plan as it relates to our employees, their families, participants, their families and all stakeholders.

While the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be low, the CDC indicates that more cases are likely to be identified in the US in coming days, including more instances of community spread. Your health and safety are important which necessitates that the organization adopt certain policies intended to limit the risk exposure for everyone.

If any participants, employees, or stakeholders are diagnosed with or exposed to COVID-19, please notify Triumph Services immediately. Symptoms may occur up to 14 days after exposure and include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. A doctor’s note will be required to return to work.

PERSONAL TRAVEL

  • Anyone travelling to a CDC Warning Level 3 area (i.e., China, Iran, South Korea and Italy) will not be allowed to return to work for 14 days following their return from the trip. You must be symptom-free during the entire 14-day period prior to returning to work and the employee must either take vacation days or non-paid days away.
  • If you reside with someone who has travelled to or will be travelling to a CDC Warning Level 3 area, you will not be allowed to return to work for 14 days following their return from the trip. You must be symptom-free during the entire 14-day period prior to returning to work. The employee must either take vacation days or non-paid days away.
  • The CDC recommends travelers defer all cruise ship travel worldwide. If you plan to take a cruise, you must notify me in advance. You will not be allowed to return to work for 14 days following your return from your trip. You must be symptom-free during the entire 14-day period prior to returning to work and the employee must either take vacation days or non-paid days away.
  • If you have been in social contact with anyone who has been on a cruise and has been notified that the virus was on the cruise ship, please notify me prior to returning to work.
  • I am sure you are aware, but the CDC recommends the following steps to protect yourself from the virus:
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick. In addition, if possible, try to maintain a distance of around six feet from all persons.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow. Throw away any used tissues in the trash.

We will continue to monitor the situation and our policies and procedures as new information becomes available.

If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to call me.

Thank you,
