Have you been to Tracy’s Restaurant in Crestline? It’s awesome. The food is fantastic. So is Jimmy Tracy, the owner.

Jimmy Tracy opened the doors of Tracy’s Cafe over twenty years ago and wakes up every morning excited to serve the Birmingham community. Jimmy doesn’t just serve food. He made the commitment from the onset that his employees would be people with developmental disabilities.

Jimmy feels that his relationship with people with developmental disabilities makes him a better person and his customers enjoy their company and cheer.

When asked if he has a favorite story about one of his employees, Jimmy laughed and thought immediately of Russell. Russell liked to imitate Jimmy when his back was turned. He made everyone laugh and even Jimmy said the impression was dead on.
