Reaching New Heights with New Partners

When we think of sports, we instantly think of Russell. Most days you can find him cheering on others at UAB or Barons’ games, but now you can find him using the assistive facilities at Lakeshore Foundation with Olympic athletes.

Russell participates in Triumph’s new Outcomes Based Program to establish a Health Living Plan, utilizing the assistive weight room, aquatics facilities, and the rock-climbing wall available at the Lakeshore Foundation.  He works one-on-one with a coach at Triumph to develop a routine at Lakeshore and works with Lakeshore staff to familiarize himself with the equipment available.

“I want to stay healthy and stay flexible,” says Russell. “I can do this by myself, I just need some help getting there.” That’s where Triumph Service and Lakeshore Foundation come in.

If you or someone you know has a physical disability or chronic condition that would benefit from an assistive exercise facility, please visit http://www.lakeshore.org/membership/ to learn more about the opportunities available.  If you are interested in establishing a healthy lifestyle and routines, email us at info@triumphservices.org and ask about our Outcome Based Services!

Other Outcome Based Services: Financial Literacy, Securing Housing, Enrolling in Higher Education, Securing a Volunteer Job, and Home Organization.
